Born on Long Island, Hunnicutt Slim has lived all over the South, drawing influences from Gospel, R&B, Rock, Hip Hop and Country music. Hunnicutt is thankful for his experience, including a chance to record and perform with Straight Company, winning the CAMA Album of the Year (a capella).
While hanging around Memphis during his formative years, Hunnicutt Slim picked up the mighty guitar and enjoyed the sound. In 2010, Hunnicutt finally decided to perform his own music, for the public.
