Come experience an old fashioned setting filled with wonders and take a tour of the 130 year old Victorian mansion that is the historic McClendon House, birth place of Washington correspondent Sarah McClendon. Discover a Texas Landmark steeped in Smith County History as you wander from room to room and hear the stories our docents relay to you. Feel the veils of time lift as important moments are recounted in each area of the home.
