Traveling Troubadours Show
Opening: The Scrips
Bridge 281 Coffee Shop 1400 E. Loop 281, Longview, TX 75605
Sean Michel, Lara Landon, and Faith Gilmore are The Traveling Troubadours. They've temporarily meshed their solo careers together to raise money for Compassion International, an organization that helps orphans around the world. Enjoy the music and support Compassion International!
Sean Michel has a folksie, blues feel that many might remember from his impression from season 6 of American Idol when he did a rendition of 'God's gonna cut you down'. Lara Landon and Faith Gilmore both have their own solo careers as musicians, both delving into styles mixed with piano, pop, folk, and hip hop. These three musicians recently came together to help support Compassion Internationl by raising awareness and financial support for the organization. Compassion International is a well respected international organization that deals specifically with helping orphans around the world by connecting supporters with the children to exchange letters, and help by providing education and food through their financial support.
Also The Scrip, a local group will be opening for the trio. With their Upright bass, banjo, guitar, and violin, they bring some foot-stomping folk music to the floor! Grab some of their songs for free on Noisetrade.com.
