ABC’s Final Witness based on murder of East Texas family

First episode aired last night at 9 PM central time.

A new hour-long program is brought to the viewers by ABC titled “Final Witness”. The new program features the dramatization of true to life crimes that happened in the past, which will be based from the viewpoint of one of the deceased victims. As for the show’s premier episode, they feature a heinous murder of a family that took place in East Texas in 2008.

The murder had a huge impact to an East Texan town. Terry Caffey’s wife and his two boys were harshly murdered in March 2008. The horrifying incident took place at the Caffey’s residence one night of March 2008. Terry and his wife, Penny, were shot, followed by the murder of his two boys, and their house was set on fire.
