UPDATED: Miami Herald runs accidental ad congratulating the Heat on their “win”

Someone's job is on the line.

After the Dallas Mavericks beat the Miami Heat 105-95 Sunday night and won their first NBA championship, the Miami Herald ran an ad in Monday's paper that says, "Congratulations Miami!"

The Macy's-sponsored ad goes on: "Celebrate the 2011 NBA champions with official merchandise from Adidas! Men's locker room tees available today with more styles for him, her & kids arriving daily."

Today's a day for celebration. And this little slip-up makes the Dallas Mavericks' victory just a little sweeter.

UPDATE: On the Herald's Corrections & Clarifications page, they posted the following note on June 13 about the championship ad slip-up:

A Macy’s advertisement featuring Miami Heat merchandise was mistakenly published June 13 on page 11D in some editions of The Miami Herald. We regret the error and apologize for any inconvenience.
