UT Tyler women’s tennis players named doubles All-Americans
Duo help Patriots to East Division title.
TYLER TYLER -- UT Tyler women's tennis players Sydni Hermsdorf and Emily McRae were named 2011 Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Americans for their performance as a doubles team during the 2011 season.
Hermsdorf, a junior from Spring, Texas (Klein HS), and McRae, a senior from Katy, Texas (Collin County CC), teamed up to go 18-7 overall, including 5-0 in American Southwest Conference play.
The duo helped lead the Patriots to the American Southwest Conference East Division title and the ASC Conference championship and an appearance in the NCAA Championships.
Hermsdorf and McRae were also All-ASC and All-ASC East Division selections.
