Gladewater Art Stroll draws crowds to antique district

Photo gallery of atists.

— With nearly three dozen artists participating, the Gladewater Art Stroll succeeded in drawing a good to the downtown antique district for Saturday's annual event.

There were paintings, sculptures, pottery, drawings and photography on display in 24 participating venues.

Although the "strollers" thinned out somewhat as the day got cookin' under a bright blue sky, the artists that we spoke with all seemed satisfied with the results of the days showing.

The day was capped by an evening performance by the vocal group "Shake, Rattle, and Roll" at the Whisenhunt Center.

The photo gallery below has some of the artists we snapped during the afternoon.

Piney Woods Live is an awesome supporter of the arts and we certainly appreciate them spending part of the afternoon yesterday strolling throughout Gladewater's historic Antique District.
