JEFFERSON This weekend, in Jefferson, you can enjoy country music the way it was done back in the day and the way it’s done today. Jefferson welcomes two talented country music artists to town -- Justine Blazer and Jake Penrod.
Jake Penrod will present his critically acclaimed show, “Hank Williams Remembered” at Jefferson’s Ruth Lester Playhouse on Saturday night at 7:30. Jake makes the past come alive with his renditions of Hank William’s classics such as; “Cold, Cold Heart”, “Jambalaya” and “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry”.
Tickets are $35.00, for more information call 903-665-2513. The Ruth Lester Playhouse is located at 208 Henderson in Jefferson, Texas.
Auntie Skinner’s will showcase today’s country music when they host Justine Blazer this Friday night. Justine is the National Winner of the Dodge Ram Trucks Battle of the Bands. Auntie Skinner’s is located at 107 West Austin and the show starts at 9:00 PM.
