East Texas All Star Showcase at Liberty Hall
Music, art, and film on East Erwin Street.
TYLER Liberty Hall will play host to the second annual East Texas All Star Showcase this Saturday. This year the event has grown to include not only music, but also art and films from local artists and will run from 2 p.m. to midnight.
Outside, East Erwin will be closed from Broadway to the corner of Spring for a large music event and art display featuring more than 30 East Texas Artists. The line-up starts at 3 p.m. with the 6 String Boys; 4:30 p.m. will be Ramoth Gilead The Really Bad; 5:30 p.m. is Something Blue; 6:15 Backseat Molly; 7:15 Young Ones; 8:15 Manny and the Gringaderos and finally at 9:30 p.m. will be Sideshow Tragedy followed by headliner Uncle Lucius at 10:30 p.m.
Local art work will be for sale by silent auction inside the Liberty’s lobby will all proceeds benefiting Liberty Hall’s fall programs. Short films by East Texas filmmakers will be shown inside the theater.
Sponsors for the event include Jack O’Diamonds, Cruisers Rods & Customs, KYTX Channel 19, Alston Electric, Real Edge Real Estate, Weinerland, Landmark Credit Services, Phaup Agency Insurance, What About Kabob, SDR Marketing Solutions, Stanley’s Famous Bar-B-Q and Revamped.
Stanley’s Famous Bar-B-Q will have food available to purchase on site. Jakes on the Square will offer their $5 happy hour menu all evening to anyone with an event armband.
Tickets are available for $25 online or at the gate for $30 cash.
