KC Rangerettes to announce new freshmen today

The Rangerette freshmen will be announced at a closed meeting

KILGORE — The Kilgore College Rangerettes will announce new freshman members today after a week of pre-training and tryouts.

The new Rangerettes will be chosen by outside judges, director Dana Blair and assistant director Shelley Wayne.

The Rangerettes are returning 35 sophomores to the line.

Rangerette tryouts began at 8 a.m. on Thursday morning. The official tryout was closed to the public.

The Rangerette freshmen will be announced at a closed meeting 10 a.m. Friday, July 20, in Dodson Auditorium on the Kilgore campus.

A reception for all new Rangerettes and parents will follow 11 a.m. in the Devall Student Center.
