Tyler Film Fest Will Debut With Saturday Launch Party

Film festival is set for October 24 through 27.

TYLER — The Second Annual Downtown Tyler Film Festival will kick off with a special Launch Party this Saturday, July 28, at 6 p.m. at Gallery Main Street, 110 W. Erwin. Filmmakers, independent film fans, volunteers and potential sponsors are all welcome to attend the event, where they will see last year's winning films, meet the filmmakers, and find out how to become part of this year's event. The party is free and open to the public.

The film fest itself is set for October 24 through 27. This means the festival is expanding by one day. But, it's also expanding to two screens, with two different genres shown each night.
