Writers being sought for Tyler fall book festival

Last year the event attracted more than 60 authors and some 200 attendees.

— The East Texas Book Fest, to be held at UT Tyler in September, has issued a call for applications to published authors. Writers who wish to display and sell their books to a book-loving audience should apply.

The one-day, six hour event will afford participants adequate time to talk to authors and browse their books during the event. Plus space, time, audience, and learning opportunities. The 2009, 2010, and 2011 East Texas Book Fests were very successful, with more than 60 authors and some 200 attendees, and the organizers aim to make the 2012 event even bigger and better.
