Book Sale at Tyler Public Library

All items are priced at $1 or less. All children’s books are just 50¢

The Tyler Public Library will host its Fall Book Sale in the Library’s Taylor Auditorium, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20 from 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

“We are selling adult and children’s fiction and non-fiction books, as well as media items such as audio books, video tapes and vinyl records,” says Resource Librarian Pauline Eng. “All items are priced at $1 or less.”

Library staff and volunteers have been sorting and preparing sale items for months. Adult hardback books and vinyl records are priced at $1. Paperbacks, all children’s books, VHS, and books on tape are just 50¢.

“All proceeds from our sales go toward the purchase of new or replacement items for the Library’s collection,” said Eng. “We expect to have thousands of items in the sale; books on genealogy, religion, science fiction and health are in abundance, along with picture books and about a thousand vinyl records.”

For more information about the sale call (903) 593-7323.
