Longview Library sets genealogy DNA seminar


Topics covered include "Where did my ancestors live?"

— The Longview Public Library will host a genealogy seminar on September 15th.

The guest speaker for the seminar will be Christi Watkins, Chief Clinical Officer at Palestine Medical Center in Palestine. She will be conducting the seminar on DNA from 9:45 AM to 12:30 PM.

Topics covered include: Ancestral Heritage; What does my DNA say?; Where did my ancestors live?; and Passing your past to future generations.

The cost of the seminar is $10.00 and refreshments will be provided.

This event is sponsored by the Gregg County Genealogical Society.
