Beethoven Spectacular to open ETSO season

TYLER — The East Texas Symphony Orchestra opens its 2012-2013 Season Saturday night, September 22, 7:30 pm, at the UT Tyler Cowan Center, with an all-Beethoven concert. New ETSO Music Director Richard Lee will lead the orchestra in three works by the composer. The concert opens with "The Consecration of the House" Overture. Then pianist Winston Choi joins the orchestra for the sublime Piano Concerto No. 4. Closing the concert is the triumphant Beethoven Symphony No. 3, "Eroica."
